ADVOCACY PROGRAMME
This is a programme aimed at campaigning for the rights of children and young adults with disabilities and their families. Our activities have extended to five more selected states in Nigeria with follow-ups in the five states already visited in 2005. Levels of support in the different states depend on needs.
The programme will take the opportunity to increase information about child development, early detection and actions to be taken while also improving disability awareness and providing needed support services through partnerships with families, relevant professionals, existing local agencies in the field and the general community.Children’s Developmental Centre is developing local solutions to solve a global problem.
