The Tripple ‘L’ Centre
The Lagos Living and Learning Centre (Triple L Centre) is the home of the Children Developmental Centre’s learning and inclusion programmes.
Currently, under construction, the Triple L Centre provides a friendly and stimulating environment for all of its guests. The land of the Centre has been acquired through the assistance of STATOIL, who are keen on the growth of our organisation. The groundbreaking was performed by her Excellency, the Former First Lady of Lagos State Chief Oluremi Tinubu, on our 8.3 acres of land at the Idi-Orogbo village along the Ibeju Lekki expressway.
The Lagos Living and Learning Centre (Triple L Centre) will be a semi-independent living facility for our students coordinated by our well-trained team. Services on our grounds consist of workshops, farming, and processing areas, a supported employment unit, a well-equipped sports centre, and on-site housing for essential staff.
In the future, we want the opportunities of our programmes to continue fostering growth for the children with disabilities we support.
Our adolescent unit has already shown the potential of our organisation through the success of 4 of our students who participated in the 2003 Special Olympics in Dublin, Ireland. 4 medals were won (1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze) by former participants of the CDC while representing Nigeria’s Emerging Special Olympic Programme.
